BIO
(b. 1980 Lausanne, Switzerland) Nicolas Party earned a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the Lausanne School of Art in 2004, and a masters degree in fine art from the Glasgow School of Art in 2009. Although Party produces everything from installations to drawings to performances, he is well known for his dynamic yet subtle painting. The paintings emphasize strong geometric form and pattern with a color sensibility rooted in hue itself rather than observation. Party lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland.
